A steel frame with a semi-rigid connection is one of the most widely used structural systems in modern construction. These are cheap to make, require less time construct and offer highest quality reliable construction without need for highly skilled workers. However, these show greater natural periods compared their perfectly rigid counterparts. This causes building attract low loads during earthquakes. In this research study, seismic performance frames joints evaluated. Three connections capacities 50, 70 100% beam’s plastic moment studied examined. The determined by non-linear static pushover analysis an incremental dynamic leading finally fragility curves which developed. results that decrease capacity increases probability reaching or exceeding particular damage limit state found.
